The High Complexity Medical Sanatorium (IMAC) joins the group of healthcare centers that are already equipped with the PharmaPouchs® automatic medication packaging system and have achieved excellent results, significantly reducing patient risks, lowering pharmacy operating costs, and improving productivity.
A need, a solution.
The goal is to re-identify 100% of the medications that enter the pharmacy and will later be administered to the patients of the sanatorium, enabling full control and traceability.
The equipment was installed in the pharmacy in May 2023 and automatically repackages 900 ampoules per hour and 900 tablets.
The PharmaPouchs® packaging system allows for 100% automatic identification of medications, reducing the workload for pharmacy staff.
